Our Story
Started in a living room.
Mountain Springs Calvary Chapel began in a NW Calgary living room in 2007 with a handful of believers and a conviction that God’s Word, taught faithfully, would change lives.
Eighteen years later, we gather across three campuses (Calgary, Cochrane, and San Jose del Cabo) with that same conviction. We are a non-denominational fellowship rooted in the verse-by-verse teaching of Scripture. Our heart is to see lives transformed by the living Word of God in every campus, every home group, and every generation.

Meet the Lead Pastor
From comedian to pastor.
Prior to the Lord's calling him into the ministry, Joel was a comedian in western Canada. After coming to Christ, he entered into full-time ministry in North Carolina and later moved home to serve as youth and young adult pastor at a Calvary Chapel here in Calgary before eventually planting Mountain Springs.
He and his wife make their home in NW Calgary, where you will find them most days on the trails, around a fire, or with a cup of coffee in hand.
