For anyone experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, in this church or far from it, Mountain Springs is a place of refuge, not judgment.

What this means

A church that opens the door.

Mountain Springs Calvary Chapel is a House of Refuge. If you or someone you know is facing an unplanned pregnancy, you will find real, practical help here, and a family that will walk with you, not away from you.

You do not have to be part of this church. You do not have to have it together. You just have to come.

01 Psalm 139:13

What we believe

Every child, no matter how they are conceived, is an image bearer of God, knit together in the womb by Him. Being pregnant is not a sin, and the child you carry is not a punishment. Regardless of the circumstances, you and your child are loved.

02 James 4:11

What we will not do

This church family will not gossip about you, shame you, or abandon you. This is a House of Refuge. We will not allow the family of God to harm others with words or actions contrary to the love of God as revealed in His Word.

03 Isaiah 1:17

What we will do

We will walk with you every step of the way, before and after birth. People in this church are ready to mentor you, throw you a baby shower, and connect you with resources. We also encourage men to become loving fathers who protect women and children.

Adoption and foster care

If you are considering placing your child for adoption, we are here to encourage and support you, with zero pressure in either direction. And if anyone in this church feels led toward foster care or adoption, we will walk with you and provide resources and community to help you answer that call.

Forgiveness and healing

If you have had an abortion or been involved in one, hear this: it is not an unforgivable sin. Whoever confesses and forsakes their sin finds mercy and forgiveness in Jesus Christ. We would be glad to connect you with an abortion-recovery Bible study so you can walk in complete healing and freedom.
