Welcome to the Mountain Springs Calvary Chapel website. By accessing or using this site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the site.
“Mountain Springs,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Mountain Springs Calvary Chapel, a registered Canadian charity based in Calgary, Alberta. References to “you” and “your” mean the person using this website.
This website is provided for your personal, non-commercial use to help you learn about our church, connect with our community, watch sermons, register for events, give online, and reach out to us. You agree to use the site in a manner consistent with these Terms and with all applicable laws.
You agree not to:
Most areas of the site do not require an account. If you create an account (for example, to register for an event through Planning Center), you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that takes place under your account. Please notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or terminate any account that we reasonably believe is being used in violation of these Terms.
All content on this site, including sermons, written teaching, photographs, videos, audio recordings, graphics, logos, and the site’s design itself, is owned by Mountain Springs Calvary Chapel or used with permission, and is protected by Canadian and international copyright law. You may:
Any other use, including republication, commercial use, retranslation, derivative works, or use in a way that suggests endorsement by Mountain Springs, requires our prior written permission.
The Mountain Springs Calvary Chapel name, the Calvary Chapel dove logo, and our other marks are our property and may not be used without permission to identify products, services, or organizations not affiliated with us.
When you submit content through our forms (a comment, a prayer request, a registration, a message), you keep ownership of that content. You grant Mountain Springs a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use the content for the purpose you submitted it: to respond to your message, pray for your request, process your registration, or fulfil any other purpose obvious from the form you used. Prayer requests are treated as confidential pastoral communication and are shared only with our pastoral and prayer team.
You confirm that you have the right to submit any content you send us, and that doing so does not violate any law or anyone else’s rights. We may remove or refuse to use any submission at our discretion, particularly content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise inconsistent with our values.
If we enable public comments on any part of the site, you agree to keep them respectful. We may moderate, edit, or remove any comment that is off-topic, abusive, profane, sexually explicit, threatening, hateful, deliberately misleading, promotional, or otherwise inappropriate for a church community. Repeated violations may result in a permanent ban from commenting.
We respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe content on our site infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to office@mountainspringscc.com with:
We will investigate and respond to complete notices promptly.
Online giving is processed by a third-party payment provider. By making a gift, you agree to the terms and privacy policy of that provider in addition to these Terms. Mountain Springs does not see or store your card or bank details.
Tax receipts. Gifts to Mountain Springs Calvary Chapel are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by Canadian law. Official donation receipts are issued in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) requirements.
Gift corrections and refunds. All gifts are considered final once they have been processed. If you believe a gift was made in error (for example, a duplicate transaction or an incorrect amount), please contact us within 30 days of the transaction at office@mountainspringscc.com. We will review the request in good faith and, where appropriate under CRA rules, issue a correction or refund. If a receipt has already been issued, any refund will be reflected on a corrected receipt.

The presence of a link does not imply our endorsement of the linked site.

This site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work hard to keep the information accurate and the site running, but we do not guarantee that the site will always be available, accurate, secure, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, regarding the site and its content.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mountain Springs Calvary Chapel and its pastors, elders, staff, volunteers, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, goodwill, or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with your use of this site, whether or not we have been advised that such damages are possible, and regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the site will not exceed CAD $100.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mountain Springs Calvary Chapel and its pastors, elders, staff, volunteers, and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason in our sole discretion. The sections of these Terms that, by their nature, should survive termination will survive, including the intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing-law sections.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. Material changes will be announced on the website. Your continued use of the site after we post changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the site will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Calgary, Alberta, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any notices on the relevant page, are the entire agreement between you and Mountain Springs Calvary Chapel concerning your use of this site.
