Tithing is a biblical principle rooted in recognizing God’s provision and sovereignty. In Malachi 3:10, God invites us to “bring the whole tithe into the storehouse” with a promise of blessing. This act of giving is not merely a duty but a form of worship, reflecting our trust in God’s faithfulness. Jesus affirms the importance of tithing in Matthew 23:23, emphasizing that it should accompany justice, mercy, and faithfulness. By tithing, we acknowledge that everything we have is from God, and we honour Him by giving back a portion to support His work and care for His people.
